Review on Unveiling Celestron 44857 reTrace Deluxe (White): A Remarkable Device for Ultimate Tracking Experience by Frank Nguyen

24 hours after installing new varta batteries in the new retrace deluxe they were completely dead although i only set and tried the time, counter and celsius (five and six times) to get a satellite signal. (It was +2°C, so not too cold for the batteries!) The acquisition time was always over 5 minutes, later the car didn't get any signal, and when I got at least the coordinates of my place, they soon disappeared again. Now, maybe because of a battery change, my settings are gone. I have not received an email response from the Celestron support site. No software download option for MAC users! Not to be used for real outdoor activities with such runtimes and problems. My rating: 0 stars
