Great idea! Unfortunately that doesn't work. I used my mixer to make the batter using the exact pasta recipe that is in the instructions. At first I thought it was great, but then it got really bad; the dough will be glued and pulled over the side of the cookie cutter! I always make the thinnest pasta with the highest number, but it doesn't seem thin to me. I keep using the fettuccine cutter to cut the dough, but it won't come out on its own! At that moment I had my old kitchen gadgets - an Italian pasta turner and knife. The last photos show the thinnest pasta in this product and my old KitchenAid pasta roller. Incidentally, my old cutter was not on the finest setting! There are 2 left! I hope they can come up with a better design to address the flaws I noticed. I'll say it again; The idea is good, but the design is not. My photos speak volumes about what comes out of this product. This is my personal opinion and I have not received any compensation for my review and I hope to be able to help other pasta lovers if they have any questions. Unfortunately I do not recommend
