I read about sizing issues before ordering, I wear a large and ordered a large. The sizing itself was very accurate except what makes it snug are those cheek/tooth guards. They are easy to put on and take off as shown in the picture, red snaps, very comfortable with it. But if you are serious about mud riding/racing I would leave them as they are much safer on the jaw/teeth area. If I'm an everyday driver, I take them for a comfortable stay. You can choose which one best suits your riding style that day. I like the helmet, light weight with great sun protection (I live in Arizona).
