The lining is easy to attach with the supplied small nails. Additional clips help keep the liner straight and in place. I cut five inches off the bottom to adjust the length with a bamboo umbrella and that's it. If the light in the room is on and it's dark outside, an outsider can see shadows and movement through the window, but no distinguishable detail. During the day, the sun's rays pass unhindered through the lining, so your home is not deprived of natural light.
