This is fantastic for cakes! We could only make half a batch per pot so I finally broke down and bought a second one so we could cook them all at once. I was concerned about how the pan would hold up, especially with all the protrusions on the rims of the cups, but so far everything has been great and perfectly clean every time. I think the most revealing thing is that I wanted to see them fold up for storage (which is actually way better than I expected, see picture) and I literally couldn't tell which one was new next to, too which we used. had eight months. I think this is the only non-stick baking pan I've ever owned that hasn't left a stubborn mark after a few uses. Another picture shows two side by side - one is new out of the box and the other has been used about a dozen times since November. You probably can't use grease/oil for a non-stick coating, but we always sprayed them with olive oil before filling (using a pneumatic sprayer, NOT a spray!).
