I bought this to replace my smaller Maxpedition Encore (discontinued). I was looking for a wallet with a few more card slots because I was going on a trip abroad. I like the material of the purse. It feels comfortable and is durable. My last Maxpedition wallet has held up well for the last 4 years. The bill slot has become longer, not deep. The longer slot makes it easier to insert and extract stacks of banknotes. A little more height might be better for some foreign banknotes but I think it still works well. The longer slot also allows for smaller receipts. There are 4 card slots. The nylon material is a bit smoother than the rest of the wallet material. After some use, the cards slid in and out easily, but the slots were deep enough and just the right size to keep the cards from falling out. Behind the front 4 slots is the 5th slot. I like that the ID field is big. All too often, wallets have ID slots that are too narrow for easy access to your ID. This one works great. There's no problem pulling out your ID and you can just put a stack in. Overall, I really like this wallet, even if it's a bit big. Sometimes, depending on the pants, the larger rectangular size is noticeable in the front pockets of the pants. But I find the size very manageable and usable. My only criticism of the bottom right corner was that it was very hard. Maybe it's a weld. It's square compared to the other three corners, which are slightly rounded. I tried to cut a little and break the corner. Let's see how it holds up over time.
