I should have looked better, I spent money on an ordinary product.

For the mouse's advanced features to work, you'll need to install an application called G-hub on your computer. As a result, the user interface, in particular, is especially prone to crashing when used on macOS. Once you've enabled cross-profile DPI synchronization, this option won't appear and you won't be able to change DPI settings individually (and its settings have been reset to standard). I had to find the json configuration file and disable the option there by hand, while also removing the junk duplicate settings that the broken user interface had created. It's possible that the daemon needs to be restarted before it will once again recognize the mouse. The profile settings (and by extension, DPI and keys) won't work unless you do this. Compatibility software for macOS is generally of low quality. At the very least, I am able to bypass and work around the software's faults with greater ease now that I can picture how they were produced. But, average folks will have a hard time accomplishing this on macOS. If you're not a coder and you use macOS, you shouldn't bother with Logitec's g-hub products because you won't be happy with the outcomes. Despite the fact that I haven't used every single function of Windows, I haven't run into any major problems with it either. For this, I decided on the number 3. The mouse is a well-made object that excels in both form and function. Their technical help is so ineffective that they made a forum for customers to complain and offer each other solutions. My English and electronic copies of my explanations of the problems I've been having have gone unanswered for two weeks now. There may be technical assistance offered, but you shouldn't count on it. Although I was aware of the problems with Logitec's software and customer service before buying, I ultimately decided to go with a Logitech mouse because I could find none with a better balance of price, battery life, bluetooth compatibility, and features. I am satisfied with the software because I was able to work past its faults after I learned how to use it properly, and because it meets or surpasses all of my requirements. You've already settled on a priority between the product's reliability and its wealth of exciting features.

Pros
  • While holding down the mouse button for this purpose, the DPI can be temporarily increased, which is useful for making quick, wide turns in games. Every button in the game can be changed to your liking, with the exception of the two that sit atop the wheel. It's really beneficial that I can set it up to perform both standalone tasks and those that fall within macros. Game and non-game applications alike can have their own custom configuration profiles made. When viewing the code, you are not allowed to use the keyboard, so I have found that utilizing the mouse buttons for the IDE's navigation features is not only convenient but also important. Long battery life; it's preferable to read other reviews of this device after it's been used for a while, but I've been using it nonstop for two weeks and the battery life hasn't diminished in the slightest. Floats effortlessly on the water's surface.
Cons
  • – Mac program that is replete with bugs. So far, Windows has operated without a hitch. The website is dead and there is no technical help to be found. The customizable button function requires a whistling connection in order to function (via bluetooth - no) If you find yourself constantly reaching for the side keys that are closest to your palm, you may want to consider shifting the entire panel slightly forward (I do not have small hands). Unfortunately, after a full day of using the mouse, I sometimes find that the brush has become fatigued due to the device's center of mass being pushed towards the palm (where the battery is housed).
