Review on Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone 20 Ultra (SM-N985F) 8/256 GB RU, black by Makoto Takayama ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, more pros than cons.

I looked closely at this model for a very long time, being the owner of an iPhone 11, I wanted a larger display, better cameras and of course the OS was freer, what I got from this, what not, I will describe further. So, the display fully met expectations, it is large with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, smoothness is felt, in all respects it surpasses that of the iPhone 11. My eyes don’t hurt from the shim, so there’s someone like it. Cameras, they are all perhaps better than on iPhone 11, but if the main camera is only slightly ahead of the iPhone, then the width, and even more so the telephoto, leave no chance for Apple's smartphone to win, given that there is no telephoto for 11 at all. The cameras shoot very well, the main sensor allows you to make natural bokeh, in good weather 108 megapixels really have a positive effect on detail, again, unlike the iPhone, all cameras have a night mode and it works out quite well, in general, I am satisfied with the cameras. The sound from the external speakers is good, there is volume, there is bass, but it does not reach the iPhone, although the Samsung sounds louder, all sorts of improvements like "dolby atmos" in my opinion only spoil the whole impression. Oneui pleases with its features and, in principle, is one of the best add-ons for android. And now about the bad, autonomy, after an iPhone, I honestly suffer, 5 hours 40 minutes of the display is the maximum that I squeezed out, the batteries barely last until eight in the evening, and this is considering that I disabled about 30 applications, including 2022 software that arrived and use a dark theme, disable 120Hz to save on this smartphone, I consider the lot of "superminds". Performance and heating, I solved the issue with gaming performance by installing ccswe and disabling Samsung gaming services, it got better, but heating appeared especially in heavy games, I don’t even know, I might have to put everything back. And the little things, the fingerprint is not annoying as it was on the Samsung series, it works stably, the design pleases with its brutal look, the stylus is a great thing.
