When I opened these I was initially concerned about comfort. They felt rather stiff in my hands and the toe thong looked rough. Boy I was surprised when I put them on. First, and highly important to me, is the toe thong. My feet slide in well and have no rough feel or rubbing. The sole is firm but very comfortably supportive. My other flip flop pair feel more 'spongy' and don't have the arch support like these. I wear a 10 1/2 but 1/2 sizes weren't available. I ordered the 11 and the fit is great. Recommend these highly.
