For the record, they don't necessarily make a hot drink cold — at least not as cold as real ice cubes. But I don't use them for that. I add them to already chilled drinks to keep them chilled without dilution and they work great in that regard. I really like them and the original packaging, a small storage bag and ice tongs are cool. "Ice" is easy to remove after use. They have pleasant conversations with guests. I will buy more than gifts.
