This laptop falls into what I would call a "homework machine" category. It's good for very basic productivity tasks like typing in Google Docs or using other web apps, but no more. Even productivity tasks get tough with 64GB of storage, but at least it's easily upgraded by adding an m.2 drive (a required upgrade). In other words, this is a very affordable laptop. Even simple multitasking slows down the Celeron processor to a minimum. That being said, the screen and keyboard are MUCH better than what I typically see on laptops in this price range. In fact, it might be the prettiest screen I've ever seen on a $250 laptop. The keyboard is full-size, with full-size cursor keys, with good feedback and travel. The touchpad feels cheap, but it's responsive and precise - just press down to click. The webcam is sufficient. The port selection is pretty good, including a USB-C port. All of this to say that this is a decent budget machine and will probably suit a child's basic performance needs in the classroom. However, if you need to use Zoom, you'll need to upgrade to the regular version from the S version of Windows Home. At this price this is a 4 star laptop if you know what you are getting. If the price goes well above $250 I'll keep looking. I've never heard of LincPlus, so I can't comment on their support or the longevity of their products.
