Great affordable tester does more than you expect

This tester can do everything and more than other testers I've read. The interface loads quickly, is fast and responsive, and easy to use. At less than 1/4 the price, this is excellent value for money and is widely used. The only downside is that it has 3 RJ-45 ethernet ports that are used for different types of tests and although the manual tells you which ports to use (mostly) it would be nice if the interface You would instruct which port you are using. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. I also want it to be clear what each RJ-45 port is for and what you can and can't do with it. It tests: the wiring, to the graphics card, including the connections if they are connected to a switch or device. haven't tested this but the manual says so) POE voltage on each DHCP/PingToning pin including 120v detection for all cables powered on, toning seems pretty good, tested it when it plugged into a POE Switch was connected and it worked fine. Flashing switching ports. It seems that all RJ-45 ports can also be connected to a live switch using POE. However, the tester turned off when I plugged the RJ-11 connector into a live phone line, and I had to plug it into a charger to reset it and turn it back on. Nice clear color display. I haven't tested reports yet. You can even check the length of each cable with the included alligator clips. Presumably you can test for a broken wire or short in each wire/cable. I'm trying to see if this can help me test for bad Christmas lightbulbs right now, but I've had no luck with LED filament. This thing actually seems to do it. everything (except for the actual data integrity check over the cables). Comes in a pretty zipped case with all ID testers and battery charger in both tester and toner - no more dead 9V batteries. What the yellow brand does is have a wire card tester right on the toner and switch to it automatically. Fur. I will carry more functionality and more money in my pocket. Overall it's not as user-friendly as some of the others, but this one seems to do it all for a great price.

Pros
  • Other benefits: TF card for PC export ++Voltage detector: included in receiver (90-1000V) ++Rechargeable lithium battery for more efficient operation.
Cons
