The thread is very thin, tears easily and has very poor adhesion. Beautiful color but very difficult to work with. It's like trying to work with cheap yarn that keeps snagging and you have to keep cutting it. It also tears easily and is very flimsy to begin with. I used triple strands because the individual strands were too thin for everything I wanted to do. I had to buy a second spool of this yarn because about half of the first spool was so tangled that it could no longer be processed and had to be thrown away. Since so many were useless and I was so far away in my project, all I had to do was buy more. When 2 or more strands come into contact with each other, they twist and then separate so badly that it's impossible to break the strands or untie the knots. I found that wrapping strands around a roll of paper towels significantly reduced the problem of knotting and tearing. This is a very low quality item and I hated buying another roll of this stuff. It was a nightmare for work.
