Vesa mount and pole offer good flexibility depending on how you want to use them. I have a Lenovo mini pc and its power supply is rigidly mounted in a bracket that attaches to the vesa mount points of the monitor, wireless keyboard, mouse and wireless network. Essentially, 2 power cords run neatly around the desk for a beautiful minimalist setup. We have a KVM switch that can be mounted under a table by threading wood screws through the VESA holes on the underside of the table and using the clamp screws to adjust and tighten. a bracket that holds the KVM so it's more flexible than what I originally had.
