To be honest, despite the positive reviews, I was very skeptical about this product. I have recurrent pain in the sciatic nerve, and when it's bad there is no comfortable position - sit, stand, walk, lie down. When the corset arrived I put it on as instructed and resumed my normal activities only to find that I was not in constant searing pain. Some discomfort in the hip joint is still felt, but it's so minor compared to normal pain that it's not a problem. I can sit, I can walk and above all I can sleep through the night. I don't often write reviews, but I was blown away by the effectiveness of this product. I can't guarantee this will work for others, but it absolutely worked for me. However, the package opens with a very clear label that says "SUPPORT PIE”. So if your neighbor accidentally opens it (like mine - of course this was the one he opened out of all the packages we get) I think he knows your bar needs some support. Pains. Neighbors know I fully support my groin.
