By definition, this is a tri-band router. But that's where everything delivers something of value. That WiFi router was useless, you were literally standing right in front of it. I don't have enough words to explain how intermittent the connection was. It fell off our phones in the living room, which is literally 30 feet from the router. This will erase all devices randomly. We often had to disconnect and then reconnect the device to get the WiFi to work. Constantly slowing down. We will go from 350 Mbps to 4 Mbps in a few minutes. I've never been so upset in my life. I tried for months and tried everything I could think of or researched to make it work but it never worked for us. Returned it, then turned my old DLink dual band router back on and it's day and night. I just wanted something that would work with more devices and have more coverage. This is definitely something I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
