I recently bought an Epson HC 3100 to replace my old 725HD. This projector is about twice the size and weight of the old one and my old mount didn't do the job. This one seems to have been made to work with a large projector. While this is partially true, it suffers from the same drawback as my previous one. Every adjustment point is solid, except for the center pivot, where it's held in place by just a small screw. It feels solid enough when installed, but at the slightest touch it bounces like a spring no matter how hard you tighten it. It's barely noticeable up close, but you'll surely find the screen all you have to do is sit hard on the couch. This is probably a really good mount for a projector that weighs less than ten pounds. If you have more than that, save some money and get a universal mount from Epson (about $100) that rotates on a large threaded tube. All of these sub-$100 Revains seem to have the same flawed design.
