Firstly my printer recognized these ink cartridges straight away which means I didn't have to enter any bypass codes to get the printer to print. Second, XL cartridges last longer - apparently longer than Epson cartridges. Best of all, the print quality was as rich and crisp as genuine Epson inks. and mind you, I am picky and notice every detail in my prints. I've printed on a variety of papers - gloss, matte, photo and premium copy - and I'm happy with all of them. I trust this company after using their cartridges for the first time, so I bought more even though I haven't used the original cartridges yet. Yes, they are high quality and expensive.
