These wire corner shelves look like polished chrome instead of stainless steel. Polishing stainless steel to a mirror finish takes much longer than a standard matte polish, so I'm skeptical that it's actually stainless steel as advertised. Stainless steel is also more difficult to weld. With that in mind, it took me about 10 minutes to get the shelves right. You need to make sure the surface you want to stick the shelves to is clean and dry. First, I attached the self-adhesive clips over the glue on the back shelf. This made it much easier to mark the exact spot on the wall where they needed to be placed. I also did this one at a time and then reattached the shelf to the one on the wall after placing the new shelf to install on the opposite edge where it was attached to the faux marble shower screen. This made the location stamp more accurate. Make sure the exposed portion of the hooks that will hold the wired portion of the shelves is facing up and NOT down. So the large bottom shelf actually had a loose "L-wire" on the front edge that came loose out of the box, meaning it was a failed weld. I'm not worried just yet as it appears to be holding its position and not dangling to hold on to anything. Overall I like the look, space and convenience of the shelves. Quality control passed the suspect and I doubt the footage. For now I give it the benefit of the doubt, but I may change my mind soon if I see any signs of rusting or if it starts falling off the wall. UPDATE: 6/2/20 I have now purchased 2 more sets of flat corner shelves. I installed a second pair in the opposite corner of the baby shower so there are only 4 now. I installed the other pair in opposite corners of our huge master bath. They work great.
