This is a quality hop ball and the best gift I've ever given to my daughter. She was 7 when she first received it and it was a great fit for her size (she's average or a little taller for her age). It would have lasted longer than the almost 1 year that we had it, but she decided to stick a pin in it. So, picked up another one, great price and back to bouncing business. Second ball is just as sturdy as the first and it's used inside and outside. If you need a hop ball for a 7-12 year old (older even, I can use it!), I'd give this a strong recommendation!
