I needed to scale up my 12x12 guillotine vinyl cutter to a larger size for some new projects I'm doing and this knife was a great find and it suits my work perfectly. Extremely sharp and good weight for cutting through 3 layers of "chipboard" (ie the size of a vinyl record sleeve) which also has a 3 mil thick lamination on both sides. Board grid and blade align well for straight vertical cuts (my smaller one has always been at an angle) Best of all is the paper clip that automatically lowers when you start lowering the blade to cut so your items don't slip - they stay in place for precise cuts absolutely in place.
