I connected the device to an HP laptop and a 17 inch LCD screen. The device was set up fairly quickly with a wireless keyboard and mouse. However, setup with the LCD screen took longer. The graphics card drivers that came with the device did not recognize the LCD. After a few reboots and reinstalling new drivers from the Kensington website, the LCD adapter worked. Then it was about the resolutions that had to be compatible between the LCD monitor and the laptop monitor. My laptop is 16:9 and my LCD is 4:3. However, I used 1024x768 resolution and the LCD worked. LCD Quality Overall, I'm happy with the Kensingon Extension and would highly recommend it.
