This part worked exactly as expected but unfortunately it didn't fix the small leak we had. It turns out that GE had an unfortunate outlet design on this model of dishwasher, which caused condensation to collect and drip a little onto the floor at the end of each load. They fixed it under warranty by putting a seal on the exhaust vent and putting in a new computer box with different programming that runs the exhaust fan about an hour longer (according to the tech who installed it). This will remove the condensation and prevent it from reaching the floor. We watched it for about a week and it seems to have solved the problem!
