I had two problems to solve. Firstly to eliminate the electrical noise I experienced when connecting my TV's RCA L/R audio output to my receiver/amplifier and secondly to provide Bluetooth input for my non-BlueTooth capable receiver/amplifier. This device solved both problems flawlessly. Connecting my TV's optical output (set to PCM) to the device's optical audio input, and then connecting the device's analog L/R audio output to my receiver/amplifier solved the first problem. If I then wirelessly connect my phone to the device using the device's built-in Bluetooth receiver and use the same analog L/R audio output on the device for my receiver/amplifier, I can now hear Pandora. Spotify etc solve the 2nd release. Best of all: I can switch between the inputs at the push of a button.
