Update: They lasted all summer due to decent wear and tear. My daughter wants to wear them everywhere and I didn't want them, but she's been wearing them to school for a few days without incident. I thought slipping can be a problem but I guess that's when it broke. Yes I know it's not glass but it fits so perfectly it could very well be. Although they feel like hard rubber, my daughter spent all day in them and surprisingly didn't get any blisters. She refuses to take them off and as long as she doesn't go out in them I don't mind wearing them at home. She says she never wants to take them off. Velcro closures make it nice and snug, and the lack of blisters I attribute to the design and fit. A great shoe set perfect for any Disney Disney Disney Disney dress.
