On our last cruise we lugged around bulky clips to attach beach towels to the sunbeds. They worked, but space is a precious commodity when traveling, especially on a cruise. We FINALLY booked a December cruise and scrolling through Essentials I found this very simple product. Absolutely no moving parts (more parts and moving parts increase failure). There are no feathers. No brittle plastic. Takes up almost no space in a suitcase and weighs next to nothing. They come with a very handy pouch to store them in when not in use. I wear resistance bands when I commute to work. These bands are very similar to my bands but are the right size to fit comfortably on the lounger. Will they survive? I would be shocked if they ever break the intended application. They are wider than other similar products and I'm sure they will be better for that reason.
