The instructions say to apply a thin coat so the gel doesn't crease or cause bumps but I didn't have that at all this problem. The paint lays perfectly in a few applications. I have used primer, base coat and top coat from different brands and have had no problems. I really like the different colors in the set. There are a few favorites like the gold glitter gel nail polish, it has little purple glitter and just shines and makes the nail polish stand out. Holographic silver paint is another favorite. I would buy from this brand again. Gel polish dries perfectly in the lamp. I love it. Give it a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
