The original magnetic cap that came with my 1st gen Apple Pencil had a silicone cap strap. The lid opened further. and in the end I lost my cap. Found it on Amazon as a cheap replacement. Guess what? LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL CAP! They are not magnetic but fit the handle well. Don't fall off like magnetic (it has a metal body like a pencil but silicone inside). PLUS, the tip now has a stylus, so I can use the stylus even when it's not charged! I can even use the cap as an eraser in Procreate and also use the pen as a stylus for other devices! Eventually I found my original cap, but you know what? I will use it from now on. He also came up with three tips.
