Review on Disney DCM-1 Classic Mickey Waffle Maker, Brushed Stainless Steel, Silver, 7-inch Waffle Maker by Rich Montgomery

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not durable at all, and aluminum was thin and had.

I had one of the original 1996 waffle makers. It was such a high quality waffle maker that it lasted 20 years before needing to be replaced. This new one is very poorly made. Not strong at all, and the aluminum was thin and speckled with black. The surface looked used. The plastic base was scratched and looked like it was made out of cheap materials. There was a Mickey Mouse sticker at the red light that didn't even indicate the waffle was done, and it wasn't even applied directly. Shame as my kids loved Mickey Mouse waffles but I'm afraid this new manufacturer is skimping on quality to keep prices down. Do yourself a favor and buy a better quality waffle maker. This garbage.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • For retirees
