My daughter had an area of her scalp that was so dry every time I combed it that I actually felt like I was seeing lice. Upon closer inspection, I found that these were not nits, but dead skin cells. I've tried everything, even Head & Shoulders, but to no avail, the damn flakes wouldn't go away. However, I went against the directions on this bottle. Tea tree oil smells bad and I wasn't planning on leaving the oil on my baby's head all day. 30 minutes before showering I literally poured this oil on that part of her head and then she shampooed and rinsed it off. After 2-3 consecutive uses it went away and never came back and now her hair is dandruff free! I know she's prone to dry scalps so I plan on only using it once a week to keep her hydrated. It really works!
