If only the container was made of glass, that would be great! That's my only objection to this shaker. I've had one for about three years now and really want it to be glass instead of acrylic. Acrylic does fog up with salt after a while, also I try to avoid plastic/acrylic whenever possible. However, I love that I can use it like a regular shaker to dress up my plate, but the spout makes it easy for me to dose just enough at a time. Time to season the big pot. In fact, I love it so much I've just ordered another one to fit in my RV (and replaced the broken one with a rotating top to change dose size).
