I've been playing volleyball for about 35 years and haven't bought volleyball shoes for a long time. I wear running shoes because they are more cushioned and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and feel comfortable. However, running shoes simply do not support lateral movement and wear out very quickly. I finally decided it was time to try the vb again and as I like the Asics brand and the reviews were generally good I settled on the Gel 1150v. They felt comfortable right out of the box. The fit was true to size, some arch support and good support. I am definitely happy with my decision to buy them.
