Works on a 2010 Mac Pro
Use this on a 2010 Mac Pro for additional drives. Using an NVMe drive as the boot drive and part of an SSD for storage. The adapter board was nothing short of plug and play, it just worked, no Mac discs needed. The presence of a fan on the adapter provides additional coding, which makes everything very convenient. Would recommend this to anyone with an open PCIe slot on a Mac or PC. Mine has been running for over a year with no problems. I have a WD SATA blade in the SATA slot and a 1TB Sabrent Rocket in NVMe. No problems, no overheating. Sabrent has Catalina OS installed and boots fine.
