For the money I think this is a great remote because it connects to 4 elements and Apple Tv is one of them. It won't do everything that every single remote can do, but if you just need the basics it's not bad at all. One possible issue is that the only way to skip previous pages on Apple Tv is to press the tiny menu button (to the right of the arrows), so I'm not sure how long the menu button will last, but for now in In general it is very reliable. If you use the factory remote for very specific things that aren't generic (volume/FF etc.) then this probably isn't the remote you're looking for. (But then again, I'm not sure an available universal remote can do everything a separate remote can, so take it for what it's worth.)
