Review on πŸ‘Ά Fisher-Price Windmill Soothing Motions Bassinet - Baby Cradle with Sway Motion, Light Projection, Overhead Mobile, Vibrations, and Music by Nicole Thompson

HIGHEST VALUE, WORSE DESTROY

We ordered this as a replacement for putting our hands together when our newborn woke up sweaty due to the plastic mattress (my fault I got used to it after a group of moms and had to to know better). It was economical, easy to assemble and arrived in 2 days (thanks PRIME!). However, once our baby outgrows this cradle, we will definitely get rid of it. Unfortunately our main companion is only 2.5 months old and will soon be reaching the weight limit (last measurements were 14lb 24in and baby doesn't have much room). So the 20lb weight limit is definitely one of the downsides. Once your baby is over 10 pounds, it will pump a ton and sometimes wake your baby up. All babies squirm even when swaddled - we have a very squirming toddler and we hold onto the cradle every time our little one wobbles in it. We actually attached it to the built in Velcro, but that's a total joke. I don't even want to think about how it would rock if we didn't use velcro. The mattress is comfortable enough, our toddler doesn't sweat and doesn't seem to care how thin it is. We love the full mesh edges and the built in light comes in handy at night when you just want to peer into your little dormant bean. The best Fisher Price can do is create a legal determination mechanism for this. It would literally make it 10 times better. Before I bought this I tried to convince myself that the rocking would be great. It is not. It's terrible. In retrospect, I should have listened to my intuition.
