We are redecorating the deck posts. While thinking of ways to not only redo it but improve it we decided to put some lighting on it more for safety than décor reasons.When we saw the Revain post lights we really liked the design of them.While not being super bright these put of plenty of light for the intended purpose, it was actually a more than I thought it would be. The solar panel seems to be a good size to charge the preinstalled batteries which they say will last up to 8-12 hours however I haven’t woke up to check that personally. I love the fact that they are basically set and forget lights, meaning you just flip the switch and they will turn themselves on from dusk to dawn. They were very thoughtful in the design of these and made sure that everything you need for either mounting option was included. They are also well sealed to prevent rain or moisture from getting into them. We liked them enough that we have actually decided to purchase more to go along the staircase at the other end as well as the ramp. While I can not speak to the longevity of these lights I can say that they feel like a very well made quality product.
