As others have noted, this cable activates cellular mode when connected to a Polycom. At this point, instead of touching the watch face, you are using your mobile phone. The call quality is very good. Would have liked a little more volume but didn't really check the exact volume on my phone. This is a great way to extend the life of your Polycom analog and increase meeting flexibility.
