No instructions with clock. I am a mechanical engineer and I say that this watch is poorly made. The clock came with a battery and didn't work so I assumed I had to open the back of the case. It is very difficult to tear off where the tongue is. After many attempts, my powerful pocket knife barely ripped off the spine and cut my finger. The watch already had a battery! So I tried to remove a very small piece of plastic from under the stem. It was not possible to remove it with tweezers or a pocket knife (he cut himself again). I ended up using pliers and a knife to pry off the plastic, but the knob broke as well. Now you need to set the time with pliers. Not worth the escalation. Get something better.
