Review on ๐Ÿงน Compact Metropolitan Vac Blo Vacuum Cleaner by Ryan Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Detailed review of the Vac N' Blo vacuum cleaner. This is the best car vacuum cleaner on the market.

*** OVERVIEW *** My interest in Metropolitan Vacuums began when I bought their small MetroVac 500 Upright, a mid-sized "Thermos" vacuum that's great for small cars. but I needed something bigger and more permanent for my small workshop. Type "Vac N' Blo": I'll go into detail below, but first let me say that I've tested dozens of vacuums from various shop vacuums to Kirby, Dyson and everything in between; For vehicle detailing, this is by far the BEST vacuum on the market today. It's insane to think that a vacuum this size (small) is literally TWICE the power of a full sized full sized 6.5hp hard vacuum. but that! I would like to point out a few details of the machine, many of which are not mentioned in the ad, and then point out the pros and cons that I have discovered after using the machine for several weeks. *** BUILD QUALITY ** * It's "Made in America"and it really shows! It has a good old metal toggle switch that is both rugged and industrial - the first sign of a quality machine. The machine itself is an all-metal construction, except for little things like a handle and optional wheels. It's clear that MetroVac wasn't focused on aesthetics here; They focused on PERFORMANCE and DURABILITY. Unlike the Metropolitan Vac 'N' Blo compact vacuum which comes with a 1 year warranty, the Vac N' Blow comes with a 5 year motor warranty which is excellent! Today I spoke to one of the company's owners, David Stern, who told me that these engines are virtually bulletproof. He has seen them last 15 years or more with regular use. The most important thing to check and possibly replace are the motor brushes, which will only cost you $17 a pair. If they ever need to be replaced, it will be years later. Van N' Blo uses the exact same motor model as the MasterBlaster (one 4hp motor instead of two like the MasterBlaster) and comes with a 5 year guarantee! A replacement motor for this machine (part # MVC-157D or earlier version MVC-56D) will cost you exactly $100 from MetroVac and replacement motor brushes (part # ABC-3) as I mentioned will cost you $17. The paint scratches easily but this is an industrial machine meant for rough use and not for babies but I thought I'd mention it. Reminds me of Honda's black paint job sometimes! has a suction capacity of 95 inches hydrostatic head and 130 cfm. It is true? Of course. We tested it and got 97 inches! To give you a comparison, the 6.5 hp shop vacuum I mentioned, which is much larger and has more power, only has a 50 inch water lift suction! So how can such a portable device suck almost twice as much as an industrial vacuum cleaner with more power? The answer lies in the design of the vacuum cleaner, the parts used, the motor, the fan and the craftsmanship. This is a very well thought out vacuum cleaner, very simple and industrial and very very powerful! Thanks to a modest but powerful 4 hp engine. This means you don't have to worry about upgrading any of your circuit breakers to 20 amps to work with this machine like you sometimes have to with a MasterBlaster machine. *** EASY TO USE *** I recommend ordering an additional cart. when you buy this machine as you can roll it on the floor instead of carrying it on your belt. I'm a bit surprised the vacuum doesn't come with a cart pre-assembled, especially when you're spending over $200 on a machine, but I think it does. The trolley is quick to set up and easy to use. With the various accessories included, there really isn't a job this vacuum cleaner/blower can't handle. It is just as useful for blowing dry after a car wash as it is for vacuuming up the finest sand and salt dust.* **ACCESSORIES*** The vacuum cleaner/blower comes with a 6-foot wire-reinforced hose and 13 attachments Allows you to do everything: from from cleaning small and large rooms to blowing out a car after washing to inflating air mattresses and more. MetroVac also makes some Vac N' Blo accessories; Best of all is the longer 30ft hose (Part # MVC-56PRO-30, costs $74.99.) *** CONCLUSION *** I fell in love with this machine from the first time, and I believe so Honestly, if you're one of those people who, like me, have been looking for the perfect car vacuum for years, you're going to love it too! *** If you have any questions, leave a comment and let's start a discussion! I try to reply on the same day if possible. Many Thanks!***
