First the title of the review. This bird photo implies a) that the lens creates a full sensor image, second that it's handheld and third that the contrast and clarity are impressive. None of these "facts" are true. I was hoping that my wife would be good at photographing birds and other animals at our bird feeders, but there are several problems: First, the picture on the phone camera is small - a circle about 1/3 the width of the screen. Second, it's almost impossible to focus accurately. Third, the adapter doesn't work with the iPhone 6S+ at all unless you take it out of the case. Finally, the monocular is huge - not even suitable as a pocket monocular. I wasn't surprised that the clarity and contrast weren't as good - it's an $80 device. Also, it's impossible to hold in hand as mentioned in several reviews. I really expected the phone's camera to be fast enough in bright sunlight to get every third frame sharp, but you clearly need a tripod. All in all, it's cheaper and easier to leave a small camera in the living room. especially since we already have it.
