Review on Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) TP-LINK TL-WA855RE, white by Vassil Yanakiev ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Bought version 3. The device really works, but it is limited to one frequency range, which is not bad at allcomnsidering the speed of 300 megabits. Made a general review and test at the place of the intended installation. By and large, the device lived up to expectations.

Pros
  • + Easy to set up + Not a scary design + Relatively stable. + Convenient indicators (the one that is responsible for the Internet lights up blue if everything is fine, red if the signal is there but weak and does not light up if there is no connection).
Cons
  • -Only 2.4GHz - Antennas do not rotate 360 degrees, you can accidentally break off. -After a couple of weeks when cloning the network, the devices began to behave somehow strangely - it felt like they were constantly reconnecting, I had to allocate a separate name for the network and it got better. Perhaps this is due to the ate to the latest firmware version, to which the traffic processing function has been added (such as filtering the wrong one). I think to roll back to June, it was stable for 2 weeks in clone mode.

Good model for your money. It does not require any knowledge to connect, except for the Wi-Fi password.

With its pros: Good instructions, compact size, easy to set up. Cons: It looks simple, without design frills.
