I got the large in these tights, and I could have used a size up, but it wasn't available. They were extremely hard to tug on, but once they were on they stay on, and are fairly comfortable to wear. I walked quite a ways in these, and they didn't slide down at all like some tights. They feel strong too. I didn't rip any holes in them while I was tugging like crazy to get them on. They are completely opaque. They have two seams in the seat, I guess to make it stronger. If you weigh more than 160 pounds I don't think these would work for you.
