Excellent set for the money. It has everything I need for cutting board maintenance and more. I use it on wood and bamboo (although I treat bamboo a little differently - I use their bamboo oil for better penetration before moving on to them for finishing). Wooden/bamboo spoons, trays, decorations - pretty much anything. Definitely needs to be left on overnight and soaked, even a few times when you first apply to ensure there is a good initial saturation. Then I reapply the top coats when they look a little dry - usually every few washes. And their soap cleans well without wiping completely. I would suggest reapplying the initial saturation process maybe every few months? I don't see that as a disadvantage, everything that wasn't painted would have to be repainted. I also have their iron maintenance kit - works great with my pans!
