Review on 🔩 Ives Ceiling Hook by Schlage 580A716 by Christopher Tillman

I paid less than three and a half dollars for this item and am happy with my purchase. It's sort of a "rustic" look - a dark bronze color - almost black if that makes sense. difficult conditions. I installed it under a shelf in a cupboard to store 2 stainless steel insulated coffee mugs/mugs. They are lightweight and hang over my heavier mugs on the shelf below, but this hook definitely works for heavy mugs or mugs with handles. It came with dark colored screws. So if I choose to mount it where it would be more visible, the hardware really matches the hook so you don't have to go to the hardware store for the impossible task of finding the right dark screws. If I used it this way, it would work well under my closets (rather than indoors). This is the length of the screw (I had). I pre-drilled the holes to avoid splitting the wood. Just a caveat - the screws are small enough to screw directly into the shelf, but I'm not taking any chances. Also check if your shelf is removable. It's much easier to install if you don't have to work in a small dark closet :-)
