The fact that they come with built in resistors makes them a great choice if you know in advance you will need them. Be prepared to hide extra wiring somewhere with zip ties or use power clamps creatively, as they come with about 1.5 feet of extra wiring that connects to your standard wiring harness. The bulb itself has a silicone bulb retainer and does not use your car's stock bulb latch. This can be a problem for vehicles without significant weather protection, as they leave the aforementioned lamp connector exposed to the underhood elements. While this shouldn't be a problem, it's worth mentioning. The bulbs themselves are fairly bright and work well as DRLs. They're not bright enough to dazzle oncoming traffic and don't over-illuminate the road, but they do give oncoming vehicles a clear indication that you're on the road and can be seen as a safety feature (especially for those with more subdued ones). Car colors that can blend in with the road/environment a bit.The 6000k seems accurate and the color is definitely pure white.For comparison the attached picture shows with my car's headlights on what a 6500k bulb looks like right next to the 6000k DRL reversing lights.
