JT's narrow rocker panel is still a lot of bare metal and paint that wears away over time. With this kit you can cover an area in a beautiful and characteristic way. It's not a rubberized/flexible material, it's hard and stiff so not the best option for traction when standing on a traffic jam to get onto the roof. go off-road. Clean the area GOOD before using alcohol wipes. I used wet shop towels and still pulled out a lot of dirt with the towels. It's on a 200 mile truck!
