I have half of the duplex but no other half. The other half has a lady who rents an apartment and smokes non-stop on the shared porch! The smell of their smoke kept entering my home and causing health problems for my family and dogs. The lady even came over and used a fan to push the smoke up to my door! This wall fan was easy to install and pushed a cloud of smoke onto the porch and yard. The fan moves enough air and is at a slow speed that doesn't bother my smoking neighbors but is still stronger than their fan. The fan ran 18 hours a day for about a week with no issues. My kilowatt meter and some simple math shows it's about $0.24 a day.
