I bought these shoes for my son. He's a big kid. Height over 6 feet at 16, quite tall with very flat feet and a curved spine with wedge-shaped vertebrae. With all this, he has a hard time finding comfortable shoes to skate in. He mainly rides longboards. The shoes I wore as a kid, skating, *wrenching, on a road trip* and so on, are still expensive. $80+ per pair for lower models and they still need a "break-in" period. The first day of these HD sneakers was great! You can't go back to old shoes with holes and complain about the pain in your feet from new shoes. He says they are comfortable, supportive and great for riding. 🛹Shelf life information will be updated in a few months.
