Seems like a good drive but I'm getting an error

I have this 1TB Seagate External SSD to replace an old fashioned external hard drive. SSDs have no moving parts and are much faster. I was very surprised when I received this disc, it is very small and light. This is tiny compared to older external hard drives. This drive uses USB C, which was also an advantage for me, I wanted to be able to connect it to both an iPad Pro and a Windows laptop. When I first opened it, I connected it directly to my iPad Pro. It seemed to recognize it with no problems and worked great. I then plugged it into my windows laptop and as soon as I plugged it in, a message popped up saying Windows had found a hard drive error and asking if I wanted to fix it. I said yes, and that seemed to indicate that whatever the problem was, it had been fixed. At this point, the drive seemed to be working fine. I downloaded a utility (AS SSD) to check disk speed. It lists a sequential read speed of 399 MB/s and a write speed of 297 MB/s. He also revealed that there is "1K - BAD". I googled this and it seems to indicate that something on the disk is misaligned. I'm not an expert on this. I did a full reformat and the error was still there. Later, when I connect the drive to my Windows laptop, it keeps telling me there was an error with the drive and then seems to fix it right away. This may not be a 'real' issue as the drive is working fine, but I don't feel confident that Windows is telling me there is a problem with the drive every time I plug it in. It makes me not trust him.
