I bought this to spray Art Grade Acrylic Mica Paint (metal-like paint with mica slime) and it only lasted two months or two paintings. From the start it worked differently than other pistols - after paint was poured into the bowl, it took a few seconds for the paint to come out after the trigger was pulled. Then he worked normally - sprayed very dense layers. I need a few quick shifts in my job with cleaning in between and things just seemed to fail little by little no matter how well I cleaned. No matter how I adjusted the needle, it started dripping out of the nozzle even without air. Tried all sorts of settings with no success. Even trying to ignore the dripping, the spray pattern became hopelessly erratic. All this from about 10 quick coats with hard cleaning in between. Not for me.
